{ What's in your Bag? ~ Shannon Berrey }

What's in your bag?Shannon Berrey

beach bag
I love my waterproof ikabag! It is super roomy with 10 interior pockets and the french woven cotton holds up great to all of the stuff that gets crammed inside.
The day before hitting the beach, I use this self-tanning lotion. It has a bronzer in it, so you can see where it's going. And we all know self-tanners can be real stinky, but this one seems to be one of the least offensive that I have tried.

This cute number from Mudpie is the perfect cover-up. It's super light weight and is a nice length for us tall gals.

Reef Official Store, REEF-1209 REEF GYPSYLOVE, shop.reef.com
My flip-flops from Reef were a Mother's Day present from my daughter and they have gotten quite the wear.

.......................................................................
Deva Curl Heaven In Hair 16oz.
I have a lot of really curly hair. To give my locks a little treat before heading out to the beach, I wet my hair, slather in a load of DevaCurl and then braid it into 2 fat braids. The heat from the sun sets in the moisture and at the end of the day, my hair feels so soft!

Merona® Ribbon Floppy Hat - Orange
This floppy number actually folds up nicely and further protects my hair from the sun. {Did I mention I like stripes?!}
.......................................................................
Right now I love listening to Adele, Rebecca Ferguson and Grace Potter.
.......................................................................
I hardly ever have the time to read, but I love having an opportunity to devour one of my favorite magazines.
.......................................................................
I love Clarins sunscreen for my face. It's lightweight and doesn't feel greasy. On my bod, I slather on the less expensive Coppertone Sport.
.......................................................................
My eyes are super sensitive and the sun and sand does a number on them. Eye drops go with me everywhere.
.......................................................................
My lips are just as sensitive as my eyes, so I can't wear any lipstick or sunscreen with SPF. So, instead I use Burt's Bees morning, noon and night. I have a tube everywhere. I love it, but it really doesn't offer sun protection. {if anyone has any suggestions for me, bring them on!!}
.......................................................................
My sister-in-law introduced me to these little lime lovelies in Hilton Head over Memorial Day. They are new on the market and if you love a margarita, you will be crazy about Lime-A-Rita's from Bud Light. They are small, so they fit easily in your bag :)
.......................................................................

This little sketchbook stays in my bag. I have another one that lives in my purse and yet another that stays in the car. {This should tell you something about my memory ;) } As an artist and designer, I am constantly seeing things that inspire me, whether it be a story I hear or a beautiful bird I want to remember, or an idea for a blog post! It's great to always have a handy place to document it all.

There you have it--all of the goodies in my bag. Thanks for the invite, Denise! Now if you'll excuse me, I need to stuff it all back

Thanks Shannon. Now you see that not only do I want to see Shannon's house if I'm ever in North Carolina, but I'd like to have a few Bud Lime a Rita's with her as well! Love her style, and attitude. If you haven't seen her work, head over to Shannon Berrey and check out her stuff!Thanks for stopping by Shannon!

Don't forget to check out Kristie K's bag here...
